| Your wedding cake will be the main focal point of your wedding reception. The first place to start is to get an estimate of the number of guests attending the wedding reception. Second, consider how much you have budgeted for a cake. You will need to choose a design of your choice, the style and number of tiers you would like. Next, you need to choose the colors and the decorations you would like for your cake. Your wedding cake can be tied together with your wedding colors, themes of your wedding, pastimes of you and the Groom may share or can be just an out of the ordinary design. The shape of your cake can be round, square, hexagon, heart, oval, petal, or a mix and match of several shapes. Each cake can be a different flavor (white, chocolate, yellow, marble, lemon, pound cake, strawberry, red velvet, carrot, etc.) or even different colors (pink, lavender, yellow, etc.) Fillings can be added between each layer (strawberry, lemon, raspberry, pineapple, coconut, blueberry, chocolate, etc.) Remember it is always best to plan in advance, meeting with your cake designer approximately 6 months prior to your wedding date will ensure your cake will meet all your expectations on wedding day.
